Rules

Basic rules

1. The contest is open for all employees of the companies that have their seat in THE PARK.
2. You may register in the contest by filling in the registration form.
3. Registration of photographs will take place from 1 June to 30 July. After this round a professional committee will select 50 best pictures for the final round. The committee will consist of the representatives of the organizer of the contest and professional photographers. From 2 August to 31 August there will be an on-line vote for the winning pictures.

Topic of the contest

4. The topic of the contest is “Holiday”. The contest has no genre or any other limitations.
5. Computer modifications of the pictures, experiments etc. are permitted.

Registration of photographs

6. Each author may register max 3 photographs in the contest. During the registration phase it is possible to change a registered photographs for others.
7. By registering a photograph in the contest the sender confirms that he/she is the author of the photograph and grants his/her consent for its publication and subsequent displaying on the pages www.theparkevents.cz and if the photograph places on one of the winning positions he/she agrees with its publication in the promotion materials of the organizer of the contest and its displaying on the premises of THE PARK.
8. The organizer shall not be liable for the origin and the authenticity of the photographs. Fully liable for the breach of copyright is the contestant.
9. Photographs with an ethically inappropriate content will be disqualified.

Technical parameters of photographs:

10. Parameters for sending the photographs – max. 3 photographs, JPEG format only, maximum data size 5 MB.
11. Please, send the photographs without logos, watermarks, copyrights or other identifiers (EXIF etc.) so that the contest is unbiased.
12. Photographs will be automatically scaled down for publication on the web. The photos in their original sizes will be archived for possible further publication. After the end of the vote, the authors of the winning photographs will be asked to send their photos in the maximum resolution for large format printing of the photos for the summer exhibition in THE PARK.

Vote

13. All employees of the companies with seat in THE PARK, including the authors of the registered photographs, may vote. Only registered users may vote.
14. Each person may vote only once.
15. Ranking: Gold medal – 3 points, Silver medal – 2 points, Bronze medal – 1 point. The picture with the best score is the winner. In case of equality of points, the photographs will be ranked according to the number of gold, then silver and finally bronze medals.
16. If there is any suspicion of a rigged vote, the organizer reserves the right to disqualify any photograph or to determine the winner based on the assessment of the professional committee.

Prizes for the winners

17. 20 top photographs chosen in the on-line vote will be published and displayed on large boards on the main promenade in THE PARK from Semtember.
18. The author of the best picture will win DVD Burner Canon DW100.
19. The prize for the second place is digital camera Canon PowerShot A3100 IS.
20. The prize for the third place is printer Canon PIXMA iP2700 FSL.

Final notice

21. The organizer reserves the right to change the rules of the contest during its progress, if necessary, particularly the right to increase the number of the photographs registered by one author during the registration phase.
