Another season of events, sport and fun in THE PARK is beginning. Come to take a rest from everyday worries and compete in THE PARK X-GAMES 2011 on Thursday 14 April.

Another season of events, sport and fun in THE PARK is beginning. Come to take a rest from everyday worries and compete in THE PARK X-GAMES 2011 on Thursday 14 April. We prepared three original physical and computer activities: racing simulator, Xbox KINECT and the “Light Hunter”. What is needed this time is first of all perfect reactions, quick movements and fast responses, without sweating during the competition.

Basic information

THE PARK X-GAMES 2011 takes place on the main promenade in front of Club House restaurant. During this period you can come at any time and try all or some of the activities. You can also join the contest. Each activity has its contest program, which shall take only a few minutes. You do not need any special equipment in order to participate in the activities. You can take part in all the contests wearing normal daily clothes.

Announcing winners

Three best players in each discipline will be awarded a prize. The names of winners will be announced in front of the Club House at 3 pm.

THE PARK X-GAMES 2011 activities

You can try to pilot Formula 1 car on the racing simulator. The cockpit of the racing simulator offers full comfort for the driver including an in-built seat, steering wheel and pedals. The racing track is displayed on the monitor in front of the player. The competition will be simulated on one of the selected Grand Prix F1 circuits.

X-BOX Kinect. The unique Kinect control gives a new dimension to playing games on Xbox 360 console. Your whole body plays, including arms, legs, feet and hands. Specifically designed games transmit your body movements to the game system. Everything is so natural and intuitive that technology loses strength and gives way to the charm of relaxed movement. We chose downhill skiing as the competition discipline, but you can try other sports, too.

„Light Hunter“ is a special structure with light targets, which switch on irregularly and the competitor’s task is to click on them as quickly as possible. The simulator has six levels of difficulty.
